Does anyone have email from Ford corporate guaranteeing price protection?

Why would I even think someone should honor their word? Kinda silly now that I think about it. Thanks for setting me straight. Maybe I'll go in and offer them an extra $5000 for all the hard work they've done. Or do you think $10000 might be more appropriate? I should consider myself lucky to even be getting the vehicle in the first place, so anything I can do to help the poor, struggling, hard working dealers, the better.

Don’t get me wrong. I hate dealers as much as most peeps on here. The shady ones at least. But you gotta be realistic. No one really cares what we experience. What you do at the end of the day is your choice. Some choose to retaliate or whine. I choose to move away from a bad experience. It sucks but life happens.

I’m really hoping I don’t have a bad experience when o go to pick mine up. Whenever that might be. I have the order sheet and they crossed out the amounts and wrote in the cheaper amount (before the December price hike because I ordered before then). I’m just gonna bring that order slip and print out a copy of that price protection memo and hope for the best. Hopefully your dealership doesn’t end up screwing you over. But at this point you should almost expect it unfortunately

I honestly don't think they're going to screw me. The rep told me exactly what I would be paying...MSRP + tax and typical fees...no add ons that I didn't ask for, no market adjustments, etc. The only question is whether they will honor the original order price or the new sticker price. They even told me the financing offers from when I ordered were valid.

All in all, if it goes down like that, I'll be happy.

Sorry, I’ve been reading through the forums and I watched the video of the awesome guy from Salina, KS about the smart Vincent and all that. I am just wondering if anyone has received or has a copy of anything sent directly from Ford corporate stating that price protection applies to orders placed before the cutoff date in December? Something that clearly states dealers have to honor original order price and that the dealership will be refunded by Ford? I’d really like to have something like that to take to the dealership when (if) my Mav ever arrives. Thanks!

My dealer not only has price protection on my truck it extends to Ford financing, They had their big meeting on this very problem dealers seem to be Clueless about

My dealer. HALDERMAN FORD, Rt 33, Hamilton NJ honored my original ordered price,
( July 14, 2021) Also no markup on sticker MSRP!!
I will be getting a check from Ford Motor Company for the $ 800.00 price difference!!

In August, this year, I will be placing my order again with Halderman Ford, along with at least 10 fellow retirees. Aug 16th is the scheduled opening for the 2023 Mavericks, ( I think)
