Yeah, for sure get them.
Honestly, though, aside from regretting not getting a couple more options, I'm super happy. Just went over 1500 miles in one month and still thrilled.
Ordered in July last year and picked up last month. They honored price and financing offers (did 0.9% for 48), as well as First Responders discount. Fwiw
Hardy Family Ford in Dallas, GA
Very good communication through the whole processes, honored price protection and finishing offers from time of order. MSRP with no add ons or anything. Even suggested the First Responders discount and honored it.
Was a little wary going in after reading the...
Ordered in July and got 0.9% for 48 months on April 15. I didn't have to ask. Also got price protection without having to ask.
Edited to add...they also suggested and honored the First Responders discount.
Hardy in Dallas, GA FYI
I've never gotten one, but I did for this one. I'm putting like 400-500 miles a week on this thing, so I'm going to run out of factory bumper to bumper pretty quick. It's also a brand new vehicle and a hybrid, albeit based on proven designs...but I'm not even sure if I could reasonably...
Sorry, I'm confused...did you say long term or immediately?
I'm confused because you're saying that, in the long term, EVs will be worse for the environment...and then you listed issues that we, admittedly, currently have...as if those issues aren't currently being addressed.
With this logic...
But it's not...the assertion that electric is a long term detriment to the environment is not true. Nor is it true that batteries go to hell after 5 years or that the vehicles will be worthless.
In fact, batteries are getting better and more efficient. Even now, EV batteries have longer life...
As they say...you are, if course, entitled to your own opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts.
And if your "opinion" flies dangerously in the face of actual facts, and especially when it is detrimental to the well being of others, you shouldn't be allowed to simply say "I will do...
Yes, Ford financing. The two banks I usually work with didn't even come close.
I didn't even have to ask for it...the sales people told me about it unprompted.
Got the call today and picked her up. Ordered in July. Learned a lot here while waiting and will likely stick around. Thanks for all the info and discussions.
Fwiw, shout out to Hardy Ford in Dallas, GA...everyone there was great and I paid my price protected original MSRP, got my $500 Ford...
I honestly don't think they're going to screw me. The rep told me exactly what I would be paying...MSRP + tax and typical fees...no add ons that I didn't ask for, no market adjustments, etc. The only question is whether they will honor the original order price or the new sticker price. They even...
You're right. I suppose all I can really do is bend over and take it and thank them for it.
Why would I even think someone should honor their word? Kinda silly now that I think about it. Thanks for setting me straight. Maybe I'll go in and offer them an extra $5000 for all the hard work...
The sales rep I've been working with flat out told me there was no price protection on the Maverick that I ordered last July. I sent her that memo... we'll see what she says.
