Based on my Google-fu, the CATPart file is made by CATIA.

The STP files at least are Fusion360 which is pretty common.

Looks like they're just the FITS tab? The files for the accessories would have been nice as well for folks not getting the kit for free or to modify.

You can also find other sites or try to convert the other formats to .stl like the .stp files.

Which brings up the point why didn't they convert the files if they are making them available free of charge in the first place?

edit I thought it was for printing not for dimensions to design with. No reason to make it as an stl file then.

They're IGS files, pretty much a generic CAD file that can be used by almost any software suite.

.igs is a little more weird but is also a multi-program format
.CATPart is the original CATIA file

These files are not the accessories, they are for the truck-side mating slot so people can design stuff to fit.

Ok from my research ignoring my own job I’ve found that you can open these files using a program called FreeCAD, which you can search for and then download for free.

You can then open up the .stp file using that program and then export the model to .stl and open that in Cura and slice from there.

However I have no idea what it’s supposed to be. It’s not a cup holder or divider, that I’m pretty sure of

Its the center console in the back seat. The files are so you can design stuff and know it wont interfere with the vehicle.

In other words, kind of useless. No ones going to actually print these things, its just for virtual testing which.... who's making stuff that will fit that tight?

EDIT: Well, the center console one is pointless. The under seat one is actually useful.

Really? I've been waiting for months for this. Having a CAD model of the truck-side is way better than trying to measure it and then just doing a bunch of test prints. It's easy to get the fitment perfect when you can do a section view.

People have had the FITS socket mapped for a while. I just sent measured blanks in to the office for printing.

A garbage bag holder that one of my kids isn't going to shear off by bumping it. Most of the stuff I've seen looks pretty fragile, especially if people are using PLA.
