So if there are two identical Mavericks waiting for a build date but one was ordered on 7/10 and the other on 8/10, will the 7/10 order get scheduled first? That would make sense but it seems like I've gotten lapped. I know there are a lot of variables but my dealer told me that they got a build date on a Hybrid Lariat Luxury package that they ordered after mine. And from reading the forums, I just have the general sense that my July order date isn't helping. Thanks in advance!

No one knows 💩. Call Ford marketing to confirm your orders. It is possible both orders are still in the pipes.

No they do not. If they did there would not be members here complaining about placing an order in June and not receiving an order date but there are.

So what does that tell us? It tells us that the building process comes down to more than just the order date.

Territory, Allocation, Accessories available, proper paperwork and date ordered are just some of the methods to schedule. Heck the allocations alone are based upon volume ordered percentage....and I suspect there may even be relationships between the dealer and the Ford guys...but that is a personal opinion based upon no actual facts..

Not enough info to say. Some folks get an assigned priority code by the dealer that is 20 or 19 while some get priority code 10 for one. Although they were both the same model did your options match exactly with the other order as another...lots of variables to say..
