DIY Maintenance multi-point inspection sheet

Hi,

As well as doing most of my maintenance, I'd like to create a paper trail in case an issue shows up in the future.
Do any of you have an inspection sheet relevant for the Mav?

Does you state require you to show any proof? Unless someone can prove something you did caused the issue, then there shouldn't be one. Keep whatever makes you feel secure for your own records as proof - but you should never need them.

Here in Canada's province of Quebec, we just need to keep the receipts. We have very strong consumer laws.
That said, this is the first time I'll be handling my vehicle's regular basic maintenance. I want to make sure I don't forget a thing and keep a private (offline) record of everything I'm doing.
I'll also use the list as a study guide matrix.
Winter nights are long over here and I need this to fight the boredom!

Look in your owners manual under maintenance. Request a copy of maintenance estimate from dealer. Compare the two. What is in the manual is what is required. You can add to it as you deem necessary for your driving conditions. Like transmission fluid or differential fluid.

I was just planning on going to Hallmark and purchasing one of their notebooks. They have one about 4x6 inches with about 30 pages that i can keep in the glovebox. Ford can maintain the in depth records. I will just write down a date, what was done, and invoice number. Should be enuf.
