Did a RESET of my display. Now backup camera is wierd...

I got to the point I needed to do a reset of the center dash touch display.. Upon doing a reset and reloading a new wifi connection. I noticed the backup camera was wierd..
#1. There is now a touch button in the upper left corner.
A. pressing it causes the camera to zero in on the towing ball.
B. pressing it again returns it to the original view.
#2. once REVERSE is selected and the camera is activated shifting to DRIVE does not kill the display.
A. it displays the rear view camera even though you are going forward.
B. it terminates the rear view camera display only once the vehicle reaching 5mph forward...
#3. IS this the solution to the rear view camera recall - of the display freezing?
A. or is this some option I am unaware of, as I never had my rear view display freeze. and is
distracting when navigating through a parking lot at >5mph.

Not familiar with the zoom in on towing ball, but the 5 MPH delay for forward motion is selectable. I use tailgate in mid position to focus on hitch ball.

Not sure if your profile Vehicle description of LT means mistyped XLT, or Lariat Trim.
Does extra's include factory installed hitch?
Lariat with different infotainment center than XL/XLT.

My 3/24 mfg XLT:
#1 - is that actually a big + sign? That's in the manual.
#2 - was already in place. It's in the manual actually.

ZOOMING THE REAR VIEW CAMERA IN AND OUT

WARNING: When manual zoom is on, the full area behind your vehicle may not show. Be aware of your surroundings when using the manual zoom feature.

Selectable settings for this feature are zoom in (+) and zoom out (-). Press the symbol on the camera screen to change the view. The default setting is zoom off.
This allows you to get a closer view of an object behind your vehicle. The zoomed image keeps the bumper in the image to provide a reference.
Note: Manual zoom is only available when the transmission is in reverse (R).
Note: Only the centerline shows when you enable manual zoom.


SWITCHING REAR VIEW CAMERA DELAY ON AND OFF

1. Press Features on the touchscreen.
2. Press Driver Assistance.
3. Press Rear View Camera.
4. Switch rear view camera delay on or off.

When shifting the transmission out of reverse (R) and into any gear other than park (P), the camera image remains in the display until:

• Your vehicle speed reaches approximately 5 mph (8 km/h).
• You shift your vehicle into park (P).

normal camera functionality. change the delay in settings on the touch screen as others have said.
