Next time I’m in Austin, let’s organize a meet.Austin.
Club meets are wonderful. And always successful in car-crazy Texas. I lived in Allen for 16 years, and am a life-time member of the Red River Triumph Club. Unfortunately, Texas is too far to drag my 81-year-old bones, from Maryland, but I will see if there is a local Baltimore or Washington Maverick Club. My silver 2022 XL Hybrid is unique only in that I had running boards installed to assist my sister in climbing into my truck. Good luck with future events, guys, as there is ALWAYS something going on in Texas EVERY WEEKEND.Some pics from today's DFW Mavericks group meet at Sickies Garage in Irving, TX. We had great weather for it!

Sounds good to me.Next time I’m in Austin, let’s organize a meet.
I know you meant Cactus Gray. It's hard to say. The numbers that show up to the meets are still small sample sizes and we've had other meets where Area 51 was the most prevalent color. A couple pics from last year.Interesting the color choices. Looks like the Cactus Green is the most popular color at least in DFW.
I agree about car enthusiasts in DFW. I got the idea of setting up these meets from my Mustang group.Club meets are wonderful. And always successful in car-crazy Texas. Sorry about that. I even posted some reminders as the date got closer.Somehow, I never got notified of this meeting, just checked my status and notifications are turned on! I would have loved to be there. Not sure what happened and will try to make the next one. Hopefully it won't be to long to wait.
There is a central Texas group in your area.Next time I’m in Austin, let’s organize a meet.
It looks like there are two groups in south Florida, depending where you live you should join and set up a local meeting.Man I wish we had meetups like this in South Florida. Sure, we're known for our classic and exotic car shows but when it comes to more obscure cars like the Maverick, we have nothing to offer. I would love to be part of a meetup like this![]()
