True. Don't buy a Lariat as it's not going to be what you expect for $34k+.

I dropped off my 23 Maverick Hybrid Lariat at the dealership and told them five things I wanted done or looked at and here's what they told me...

1. Oil Change - I hit 2500 miles and figured I'd do a break in oil change.
   1. That was completed.
2. Front USB ports BARELY charge.
   1. The service advisor told me they are designed to 'trickle charge' only... but when I asked for documentation he said "oh I mean that's probably it, but we'll take a look". In the end they say it charged their phones just fine and to make sure I'm using an Apple cord. Does anyone have any documentation on how much output those should have? I'm not done fighting this one.
3. Passenger side A-Pillar has a rattle.
   1. They didn't tell me what parts, but they said they ordered parts and will have me bring the truck back when it's in. No clue what they plan to do here since i picked the truck up RIGHT when they closed and the advisor I used was already gone.
4. Auto sliding window makes a sound like metal rattling when I close it.
   1. I was told this is normal and the new models they have on the showroom do the same. It's absurd given my truck DIDN'T do this until about 3 days ago. I'm not done pushing back on this one either but my try to fix it myself if they won't.
5. When my AC is on the lowest fan speed it will randomly start blowing pretty hard for like 15 minutes. It is NOT set on auto and is always on recirculate the air.
   1. They told me this was normal.

Am I crazy or are these just BS dealer reasons to not fix a problem? It really sucks that I can spend $35k with a company (this is my third or fourth Ford overall) and it feels like its them vs me.

I didn't even tell them about the rattle from the passenger side rear or passenger door rattle. I didn't want to hit them with EVERYTHING up front lol

I'm not insinuating that you're crazy, but I get the impression that you have far more serious issues than the Maverick...

Anyways, best of luck getting your truck fixed to your desired expectations.
