If going with all year tires, I have ran the Kumho Crugen HT51, Falken Wildpeak A/T, and the Michelin Cross Climate 2, all these were ran on front wheel drive only vehicles, they all do great in the snow, but if you experience a lot of ice, probably should go with a dedicated winter tire

No Maverick comes with summer tires. Either all-season or all-terrain.
I wouldn’t call the stock Continentals all season (even if they are rated as such).
Im no expert but they’re cheesy compared to BF Goodrich, Cooper and Michelins I’ve had on my past full size trucks… 🤷‍♀️

The Continentals might be fine in some cases but on an AWD vehicle, a better tire should have been mandatory. Those skins looked like something on a FWD rental car from Hertz in California.

Depends on what you will be driving on. If you are 100% on paved roads that are usually plowed, then “snow” tires will be best. It would be more realistic to call them ice tires because they are better on icy pavement from all of the siping, than they are in deep snow, On the other hand, if you need to drive in deep snow or go off the pavement, the larger tread lugs and larger voids on the all terrain tire will get more traction and will self clean the tread pattern, where the on-road snow tire’s tread pattern will clog up with snow or mud and then get less grip.
