My 1979 Pinto only had the gas tank that might explode when rear ended.

1300 miles and I get the sleep mode message every time I get out of it. Interior and bed lights don't come on anymore. Such a shame. I'll get the first dealer visit in as soon as I can (having a day job sucks). Two more visits after that and I will be eyeing the Lemon Law option. I pir hased the Lariat for the features, not the non-working features.

52 vehicles??? That's a bit excessive. I hope you find your Perfect Car soon, if not, the Maverick ain't so bad a compromise imo

I love my 24 maverick! One wish is that my phone could use Apple play without plugging in. My 2022 Edge does but tow years newer I need to plug in!

I went out and did a BMS reset. We'll see how long that will last.

if the Maverick was a baseball player.
Ford . . . strike one.
Mexico . . . strike two.
One more and it's OUT OF HERE.
So far, so good, but my trusty 2017 RAV4 is still here.
I don't think Mexico is the one to blame. I have a lot of experience with a made in Mexico 2001 PT Cruiser. It belonged to my mother in law and when her husband passed on in 2013 I became her personal driver for the next 8 years. Took her grocery shopping and doctor appointments in the PT. No problems at all. CV's never went out, and no battery issues. No breakdowns whatsoever. Changed the oil, that's it. it was an el cheap oh, cheap plastic and seats and paint, but it was dependable. My 2024 Hybrid is supposed to be here next week. It will be my 5th. new Ford, going back to 1991. I have had no breakdown issues with the first 4. That is what I expect in 2024. I dont care about cheap plastic. I wish it was made in the USA, but its not. I want 40 MPG and dependability. If I spend too much time at the dealer I will be an ex Maverick owner, but I wont blame Mexico.
