We just opted-out and paid MSRP+ tax yesterday.
Sales mgr. said it’s another feature that will likely be included within a few years on all new vehicles. Resulting from Lobbyist / Congress pressure to keep adding ‘safety’ features.

The General Sales Manager, (Casey), at Sunset Ford came through for me today, he's a man of his word, everything went smoothly with no surprises. My understanding is that many states severely restrict if not outright prohibit people with epilepsy from driving. If that’s the case, not sure claiming to be an epileptic is a smart play here.

For future reference, that's absolutely not true. If you have a seizure, you are not supposed to drive for X amount of time depending on the state. But that's it.
