Dealer Sales Manager Claims That He Cannot Assign a Priority Code

As suggested by the ford video guy, I asked my dealer when he placed my Mavericak lariat hybrid rollover order that he give it a priority code 10 or 11. (I have been sitting at priority 2 since May but order still was not filled). His exact words were "It automatically puts priority code 19, there is nothing that can be done about that". Clealy dealers are able to do something about that so how do I educate this guy so they can set my priority code to 10. I realize they may just be saying they cannot but know they can, so I either want to tell him how to do it OR just let him know that I know he is not being truthful with me. Any suggestions?
At least they did get my order placed and ford confirmed the first day the banks were open.
You shouldn’t have to do this, but you may want to try both Ford Customer Service departments and maybe they can either reach out to the dealer on how to change the code step by step or maybe they will even give you the information to give to the dealer. They are always friendly and try to be helpful when I call. Phone numbers are 800-392-3673 and 800-334-4375.

Same here. Priority 19.

I put in my first order back in September 2021 they gave it priority code 46, what the hell is is that??

Looks like your order was put in as a dealer stock order and not a retail order.

This was my experience too. At least I got my confirmation email this morning. Once all this simmers down I am going to go back and ask to be put at priority 10.

I'm not a MY22 rollover. I placed my MY23 order on Friday and it showed priority 19. Today, I requested that they add remote start system since it's a separate package. He sent me a revised Preview Order sheet with the update package and I noticed it's now a Priority 10. I didn't ask for it to be changed. It just is. Guess I should be thankful.
My understanding is that 10 is the highest priority that a dealer can assign. This means when the dealers' allocation comes around Ford looks at his priority codes to pick his builds. . . 10's are first, 11's second and so on. If you see your priority code go below 10 (mine was at 2 as a MY22 order), Ford is working with your order.

I have a copy of my order from my dealer, and they set my Priority Code to 10. Mine is also of type ”Retail.”

Something like 69 but probably Screwed either way. Hope there was a happy ending to this.
