You shouldn’t have to do this, but you may want to try both Ford Customer Service departments and maybe they can either reach out to the dealer on how to change the code step by step or maybe they will even give you the information to give to the dealer. They are always friendly and try to be helpful when I call. Phone numbers are 800-392-3673 and 800-334-4375.As suggested by the ford video guy, I asked my dealer when he placed my Mavericak lariat hybrid rollover order that he give it a priority code 10 or 11. (I have been sitting at priority 2 since May but order still was not filled). His exact words were "It automatically puts priority code 19, there is nothing that can be done about that". Clealy dealers are able to do something about that so how do I educate this guy so they can set my priority code to 10. I realize they may just be saying they cannot but know they can, so I either want to tell him how to do it OR just let him know that I know he is not being truthful with me. Any suggestions?
At least they did get my order placed and ford confirmed the first day the banks were open.
