I had ordered a 2022 XLT ON 01-01-2022 from a FL dealer with a $1000 deposit. I was told I should have it in 3-4 months… I could never get a verification on the COVP. Sales manager kept saying it was a clean order. we sold our house and left FL May 12th, got my deposit back and they said “someone will be getting a nice truck”.
we ordered a 2023 XLT hybrid on 09-17-2022. I called again today and inquired on both….I was told that the dealer never “finalized” the order and that is now a “dead” order and will not be scheduled nor built…. But, my 2023 is a clean unscheduled order in que… so, my old FL dealer will not be getting the truck they thought they would be… served them right after the sales manager said he knew what he was doing.
