Dashboard Rattle

Hey everybody
I’ve had my 2025 Maverick Tremor since mid March. And since day one it had a terrible dashboard rattle. And rear seat rattle.
so I went in back in September to deal with it. They added extra foam I was told to the rear seat that cleared up that rattle
But the dash rattle they replaced some. But the rattle in the dash was still there.
back in it went this past week week.
Got it back. And ban. No more rattle

so if you are experiencing this. Take it to your dealer and ask them to remove gauge cluster And add what referred to as. Ford dashboard rattle kit.
love my Maverick. And I’m greatful my dealer fix the problem

Thanks for the tip about the "Ford Dashboard Rattle Kit" I wonder what that consists of and if it has a Ford Part #? Good to keep in mind if I experience the dreaded rattle. I always worry about a dealer taking things apart such as dash and consoles as part of their diagnostic process.

I just picked up a 2025 new Lariat. It has a dash rattle but it was easy to find by touching above the speedometer/production window and it stopped (where two plastics meet but barely touch). I bought some trim rubber and put it across the entire top to correct the rattle and it really looks clise to a factory install in my opinion. But I didn't see the dust til these photos so I better get busy.

I've only had the rattle after driving for 5-6 hours straight, and it's slight. I canp it by pressing down on the dash above the console.
But, today, I noticed a small piece of black plastic, like the size/shape of a large fingernail clipping, sitting on the bottom BEHIND the clear plastic screen. No way to easily get it out of there.

It worked for me, thanks! I’ve tried many materials/thickness shims - but none were successful until your idea!

Had to really cram it in with a plastic pry tool to keep it in place.

Where did you install this?

Sorry for the delay. I had a rattle coming from the top of the instrument screen...when I touched it at the top it stopped. It is where two plastics come together. I put this trim on facing towards me...it slides on. Just don't pull the red tape til it is positioned (start the tape so you can have enough to tug on. It worked for me but your mileage may vary. It kind of looks like it belongs there (sort of) . Pics attached

I have a rattle/clunk too. definitely from the gauge area and only when on textured/slght bumpy roads. sounds more like a plastic clunking than a rattle... is this what you guys had/have?
