Dash cubby phone holder mount installed

This is how Im using my cubby hole. I use this same magnetic mount in all of vehicles including work truck and boat. For under $8 it’s hard to go wrong.

my only advice is to make sure the truck and the mount are warm before sticking on

Exact same mount attached to the top as well. I ran my cable into the bottom of the cubby, works perfect for me

I have an iPhone 13 and the first curve I took it was on the floor. I am going to try a remount. Thank God it has extra stickers.

For clarification the mount stayed the phone slipped off the magnet.

Sorry to bump a super old thread - this may be because your phone case doesn't have a metal ring in it. A lot of the older or less expensive cases (and esp for 12/13's) do not have them. Most all cases now, or at least for the 14-16, do have them, even the pretty inexpensive ones. I was confused by this myself when comparing my 13m's phone/case to my friends.

I tried this one and returned it. It created a plastic rattling noise that drove me crazy. I already have wind noise and didn’t want more noise. Still looking for a good cubby phone holder

I saw that one as well but thought it would create the same rattling noise as it looked similar to the one I had purchased.

I have the Mabett one shown above.
I had to shim the side and bottom a little, to keep it from rattling on rough roads when my Garmin GPS was attached.
My choice was to use a piece of the furry stuff from Velcro w/adhesive already attached.
