Dash covers difference between 22-23 to 24?

If you replace it I would like to see side by side comparisons.
If you have a current picture it'd be nice to see.

I don't have a current pic and it is storming at the moment. Think I am going to order a new one now and will for sure show side by side pics, I might not get the same brand though.

I have had this in place since February of 24 and it has faded some. It is not as black as it once was and now has a black and gray color. But for about $25 it has protected the dash and might be time to buy a new one.

A new one every 18 months is a lot as I plan to keep the truck for 10 years. I’m going to go with the ceramic tint on the windshield and side windows. The price quoted to me was $300 out of pocket. If that doesn’t do the trick then I’ll look at dash pads again. There should be other benefits with the tint through out the cab. Not just the dash.

I have the Lariat with the B&O system. The cover I linked, and have, seems to allow the sound through just fine. I might have adjusted the balance and fade some. My biggest upgrade was to the source and I found that out with my prior Fusion that had the factory Sony system. XM from the antenna is not a quality source. There is a lot of compression and missing frequencies. The app is supposedly better but I don't have an unlimited cellular data plan. I ripped all my CDs to FLAC and the quality is much better. I really notice it when a song has symbols. They "ringggg" like they are supposed, to instead of "tink"

FLAC is a compression/file type, like MP3 or AAC. It stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec. Unlike MP3 and AAC, the compression does not loose any quality.

Some of the reviews on Amazon say this may fades pretty bad. Has anyone had one long enough to experience that? I’m in AZ and it has been very hot. Last night was the first time I drove my new to me 24 in temps below 85 degrees and I noticed a significant reduction in dash noises. That leads me to assume that most of those noises are caused by plastic expansion. I have also experienced the sticky dash that I thought was from some protective chemicals the previous owner may have used. Now I know it’s pretty common. I don’t really like the look of dash covers but would really consider one just to cut down on the noises. Can anyone who bought one of these tell me if it did that?

I specifically went to the brand that I own FIILINES. 4.5 stars
And I could not find anybody complaining about it fading. I even did a search for fading.
I also see that you're going with $300 ceramic window film.
That should help a lot. I still would refrain from wiping the dash when it's hot. Specially with the towel or paper product that may have lint.

Maybe somebody on the forum will be able to show with pictures how much it fades if at all.

Wow that wild. Not even the back side of mine which is gray looks that bad.
Here's mine after almost 2 years in the Mojave desert of Southern Nevada.
For comparison the black nylon case that's next to it is from my owner's manual holder that stays in the glove compartment. I've got no fading whatsoever.
Hopefully your new one will do better.
