Private Offer 23 to 24

Is the private offer for Maverick 2023 to 2024 carry over mailed to the purchaser directly, after taking possession? Or is it included in the sale process at the dealership?

Good dealers should have that deducted at sale process. Bad dealers will be clueless as to what a private offer is. Have you called Ford marketing to be sure you have private offer certificate info?

Yes to Ford marketing. No private offer certificate, yet. Dealership has contacted zone manager.

Mine, and all those I've heard of have been included in closing price at time of purchase. I think on the 22 to 23 I heard of some folks getting it after.

Do it at point of sale. I thought it was a rebate so spent several trips back to dealer, who had to call Ford multiple times- and several weeks later go a check from Ford.

Make sure they scroll and check ALL the different bonus options available.

Functionally it is a rebate. So depending on state laws a buyer may pay sales tax on the sale price before the MY transition private offer is applied.

Mine is still currently in production, but the moment mine was scheduled and I got the VIN, my dealer called me up and already had access to the private offer.

She printed it out and texted me a photo of the doc, and it looks like it comes from their DRIVE system (Dealer Reporting, Incentives & Vehicle Eligibility). In there, it lists my name, the program (32168 - 23MY to 24MY Maverick Model Year Transition Private Offer), and then a certificate number and the benefit value.
