Custom license plate frames

I got custom license plate frames in lieu of expensive Texas vanity plates. I'm very happily surprised how close the frame font color matches the cyber orange truck color.

I for one like the clean and simple design of the Texas black and white plates. Some states have some real overdone plates. The new New York state plates suck IMO. The standard plates that is. That's why I get the veterans plates. I don't get special lettering though.

That saves $60 a year extra on vanity Licensing fees..(well here in Hawaii it is $60, used to be $25 but someone got greedy)

My last 3 vehicles had custom plate frames.

I would buy plain black metal frames, sand them down slightly, and paint them the body color of said vehicle.. They were an exact color match, not “close”.

It was a super clean look and helped to integrate the ugly plate into the vehicle, especially the unsightly unfinished edges of the plates themselves. The plate itself looked smaller, a good thing IMO.

I still bought plain black metal plate frames for the Mav.
With a black background, I.e. back bumper, the frames melt right in.

The bonus this time is the white letter, completely

black background, plates that Colorado is now offering.

It almost looks like there isn’t a plate at all, especially at night, just some discreet, reflective, white lettering.

It was this or getting a razor wire, or heavy chain design, chrome frame that has a message about what a bad*SS I am.

Local sports teams frames are always a hit too because everybody else cares about my favorite team and knows that they are better than theirs.
