I'd like to see the install video just to see how involved it is. My hands get the shakes when I think of doing mods on my first edition.

It'll be up this weekend.

Install is very simple if you have even the slightest hands on skills. I'm making them as dummy proof as possible(i am after all, the dummy offering them)

I saw this on Reddit a week or two back and thought it was awesome, have it bookmarked for when I hear about my Mav.. didn't find it here because I was looking under the 'Lighting' sub-forum.

What does it mean by tapping the Lariat DRL? In the video it looks like it takes the place of the turn signals or was that just for showing the LED bar? Would prefer to have this and (replacement) LED turn signals together.

I'd like to see something similar for the tailgate, would probably have to be a two-piece to get around the spare tire "hole"... also how much clearance is there with the tailgate down?
@Mrboom_5.0 didn't know if you saw my Q above.

Have the first batch in and 15 orders going out next week. Have another 150 pairs arriving within the next 10 days and that'll fulfill all current orders and kits will be pre-built!

Thank you all for the orders!

Have a local truck coming next week to do an install on and install video will be made for reference

Is this your Etsy shop? If so, why the price difference for the same kit?

Thanks,Dave

Also, any chance for an Amber only version? I'd love an amber setup for my Lariat.

So if this works for DRLs, what about putting a set in the airdam as fog lights? Because that's what I'd rather have and somehow the FX4 package doesn't include them.

Different guys. They did a video on it. Not that I'd mind a price match since theirs is almost $25 cheaper shipped. ;)
Ah I see. I'm new to Etsy I saw the different seller name now. Either way these are likely $20 lights that the OP or that group are simply adding a $5 harness, fuse tap and some kind of DIY instruction. Nice that OP offers the color matched brackets as that's really the only value add. End of day these are cheap lights that I don't think either reseller will warranty past maybe one replacement.

These are DRL (Daytime Running Lights) not driving lights. They're daytime appearance is to add visibility to ones vehicle, they will not have any useable output for driving or fog. You can probably find similar style light bars at pep boys or your local walmart.

I'm very interested in this. Do we have to do any drilling or cutting into the grill? I can't access the instructions until I purchase it, but I don't know if I want to cut anything out yet on my soon to be arriving truck.

The only way there could be no cutting or drilling would be if the lights tape on and are wireless. I suspect minor cutting and/or drilling is the minimum to get these going.

I hate to be “that” guy, but most states do not allow any type of flashing white light that faces forward on vehicles that aren’t emergency vehicles. Additionally, many states only allow a total of four white lights facing forward regardless of their output.

I’m not debating the logic or merits of these laws, merely pointing them out.

Just as I suspected. $20 lights being flipped for $100 with the addition of a wire tap and possibly instructions. These bars in various lengths that all do the same sequential startup and signal can be had on Amazon for dimes on the dollar.

What's the warranty like if I purchase from MrBoom or The Scrubs?

Many reviews mention condensation, impossible to keep water out of. Are you modifying the lights to address this or just repackaging and mailing out as-is?

Hello @Mrboom_5.0 I've watched your videos on YouTube several times and I was about to start a new thread, but instead decided to ask the expert directly. I love the DRL strip you have in the headlights. I've been searching everywhere, but there is little to no information on how to do it yourself on a Maverick. I've never baked headlights and I am a little scared to do it, only because my truck doesn't even have 1000 miles. I was thinking about putting the strip out of the headlight unit, but just don't want it to look cheap. Another question I have if you have ever seen LED DRL strip that doesn't have the sequential turn signal? Is there a way I can make the parking lights my DRL instead of the headlight?

On the maverick lights I cut them open then plastic weld/sealant them closed. I don't bake them. As for the switchbacks, morimoto and diode dynamics both offer non sequential switchbacks. And I believe with some forscan fiddling you can change the parking lights to be the DRL, I'm not 100% sure on that as I'm not up to par with forscan
