Hey Bill - terrific!

Is that using a stalk you include with your kit? Would be nice to have it right on the face of the steering wheel if possible; have you tried or will you try the Ford (LB5Z9C888H) Cruise Switch?

Thank you. Yes, that stalk is included with our kit. I'll be completely honest with you since you asked, but we're not going to do any testing with the OE switch. The components we put into our cruise control systems are rock solid when used together and we won't introduce any outside equipment to it.

Exactly my thought. I am thinking a dash-mount option would be nice, I am sure there is appropriate real estate on the panel for it.

For sure. Although, I expect there to be various mounting locations /controls from Rostra....hopefully...

We have a surface-mount switch that can be purchased separately. Below is an example of how it is used when there's not enough room on a steering column shroud for our stalk switch.

No hindrance at all. Maybe the pictures and video I have posted are not from the best angles but unless you're running your leg/knee into the steering column shroud now when you're getting into the truck then you're not going to hit the switch. The switch also includes two wedge-shaped pieces of plastic that allow you you angle it further up or down to fit your preference.

We offer a right-hand mount stalk for our overseas customers which can be used for this cruise too, but I'm going to go out on a limb and not suggest using it because A) it will be in your way when trying to insert the key into the ignition lock cylinder and B) there's a big connector inside the shroud right where the switch could/would mount (see red arrow below). I just don't think it will work well.

Why is this control panel grey and not dark charcoal or black? This seems like a no-brainer.
This should look as factory as possible. I have an XL and have been following this thread extensively.

Hey Bill, thanks for being upfront. You're going to get a ton of biz on this - I didn't care that much when buying the XL, as I liked everything else better about it, but I'll add this on just in case I go on a long haul. I looked on your website before and didn't see it. Please post the link, or repost if you already have, understanding that I'll wait until the hybrid is confirmed. 2 weeks to mine arrives, but on the other coast so I can't help out bringing it in!
