This is twilight zone worthy... 6 or 7 months ago I let my son borrow my truck... He was working out of town and since I have the hybrid it saved him on gas... Well he wrecked it... Damage was moderate... Front bumper was bent down but other than that quarters panels and hood were not damaged but the truck locked up.... It was towed to the local Ford dealership where I was told the computer was damaged and had to be replaced... It took 2 months to get a replacement... For the last 4 or 5 months they haven't been able to program the computer... I really don't know who to contact about this it's so far out in left field.... Any suggestions are welcome

Talk with the service manager then owner of the dealer. Then Ford.

NAND stacking issue.

Insane amount of marketing buzz words forest first 1/3 of the way skip over. Search for CON: contamination. i will wait….
Memory is stacked like chairs that nest on top of each other. where the metal legs touch together for storage.

If any chair leg doesn’t nest perfectly to the one below or above. its worthless as a device.
There are to basic types, added memory 1G + 1G = 2G
Or 1G + 1G = 1G with better reliability/longevity.

Problems you described fits this as a cause. Unrepairable, wait til Ford gets yet another subcontractor to do more Quality Assurance to test and weed out the duds before it, tested on road.
The accident could have caused the layers to shift enough to break a connection internally . it also maybe accept programming if he press the part before reprogramming and keeps pressing til loaded. But that is a low probability.

I don't think any ECU's use 3D nand, it's a high end, datacenter type storage product, not embedded microcontroller tech...

Perhaps the dealer just doesn't own the right equipment to program the new one? Definitely should escalate with the dealer...

Maybe we should consult our Tesla patents and create a faraday cage to put our Mavericks in. That way we will be prepared for solar flares sunspots, and hopefully all extraterrestrial aliens attacking the planet.
So far I have only successfully suffered the battery death issue. That went away after driving the truck.
I read the forum every day and then go drink my malox.
The hybrid system has been around for awhile. How come none of these issues came out with the escape?

Actually working on this. … lol, having a small truck reduced the cost of fine see through mesh. Developed an EMP proof operating system for Mac, Windows, and ARM. Covers 90+% of computers, linux based. windows adopted my exact methods so easy compatibility if they finish.
