This is twilight zone worthy... 6 or 7 months ago I let my son borrow my truck... He was working out of town and since I have the hybrid it saved him on gas... Well he wrecked it... Damage was moderate... Front bumper was bent down but other than that quarters panels and hood were not damaged...

I waited over eight months to get my XLT... For me it was worth it... Hope you can hang in there...

I'm curious about the back up camera not working right with tailgate lowered... isn't the camera fixed position? ... My XLT the camera is in the tailgate... so with tailgate up it shows a view of what's directly behind me... but lowered I get ground and rear bumper... that's how it should be...

I ordered my XLT hybrid in July 2021...arrived and took possession in March 2022...worth the wait for me.. love the truck... Android auto must be cabled.. hope this helps...

I've also been told by sales rep that 5k over msrp is common and some dealerships getting 10k over... I feel fortunate that the dealership I went through honored the msrp on my order and once my XLT arrived I was in and out with my vehicle in about 2 hrs... I've heard some real horror stories...

I have had several people slow their walk as they passed by in parking lots... I have an XLT area 51, sibl, 400w inverter, full sized spare tire... it's definitely a good looking little truck.... by the way... ordered mine July 2021...received it in March 2022...worth the wait to me...

I have the sibl and really like it.. as with others I agree that you can always get a moving blanket or heavy duty rubber mat to prevent scratching of furniture... Personally I don't believe you wasted 500.00 dollars... down the road you might find that it was a very wise decision you made to...
