Does anyone know if the third brake light antenna mount has good ground? I am trying to get the ATAS antenna from Yaesu installed next and wondering if that location will be reasonably as good as a roof mount NMO for HF with the ATAS.

Can't answer that question . You could take the mount apart and run a 1/2 inch braid from the mount to a ground location under the backseat.

KE4JLA - Did you find a control wire path under the little storage container? Plan to use that Bulletpoint mount, but would like to run the control cable "hidden."
