Constraint Update Email Coming Today: Co-Pilot 360, XLT Luxury, Lariat Luxury

Now, not wanting to confuse anyone.... But, IF you get a chat message that says: "In processing to be scheduled in the next available production period", you really are about to receive a build week!! Several of us who received this message were scheduled within days. Confused yet??

Not an accurate statement at all. I have been told that exact phrase since February, on a weekly basis, and I am still a priority 19. That phrase means nothing more than "we have your order and will schedule it when we can, even if that isn't for another 6 months". Nothing more, nothing less.

I have had my order in since October for a base XL but with the eco-boost motor no other options I did not get this email I do not know what the statuses the dealer doesn’t know what the statuses Ford doesn’t know what the statuses they’re really sucking it

I don't blame their procurement department at all. I am a production planner and we are getting 40+ week lead times, and things that should be here by now are getting delayed because of their suppliers. I'm over the daily shortage meetings. I can't even imagine what a big company is dealing with.

We'll see if I get an email, I was given a VIN a few weeks ago and a build week.

I work for a large manufacturer and we deal in electronics. We have had to cut production by 50% in consumer products and 20% in our high budget business products. I understand how the parts-pinch hit us, but we knew this was happening back in October of last year and knew that it would probably go through into 2023. So either Ford was sold a blue sky by their vendors, or they are just trying a CYA

After getting a production date changed 6 times. Ford is finally building my Loaded Lariat this week. What could go wrong for a truck built in Mexico during Cinco De Mayo? But I am very happy its finally getting built after a 9 month wait.

"In production" only means they have your order and it is waiting to be "scheduled".

When you can see your window sticker. Your within days of being built.

When you get scheduled to be built for a certain week. They will give you a vin number. When you can see your window sticker, your within days to be being built.

None of this ever makes any sense. I never receive any emails from Ford. I ordered in late January, no order received email, yet called Fords 800 number and confirmed that order was received. Then they come up with this recent email, and I haven’t received that one. Maybe because my order doesn’t contain, and never has contained any of the restraint items? And no build date or VIN received yet.

I ordered mine in November 2021 and received the congratulations for your order email. My dealer contacted me about two-three months later requesting a copy of my drivers license. I've read posts on the Blue Oval forum that this usually happens when the order isn't in the ROVP system. I have yet to receive this email, so I'm wondering if my order got pushed back further. I ordered the Lariat Lux & 360 packages, but have yet to receive a schedule/build date/vin number confirmation. I did receive an email from Ford mid-March, but all that said was that "they ran into a few delays".
I was told when I ordered it, I could expect it in May, now I'm wondering if I'll see it at all this year.

Same boat. I'm assuming that means we are in the cusp of getting a date. But wasn't told anything.
