Some of those colors don't make much sense in that list. I get the feeling they just pulled colors/numbers out of a hat.

Yellow and orange are usually on sport cars, and limited editions.

The analysis doesn't say if it adjusts for mileage so it probably didn't. White, Black, Blue, Gray are more likely to be high mileage vehicles. Those are the colors chosen for rentals, fleets, Ubers etc.

Most likely it does. Try Edmunds.com. it will give you the value based on color after all other variables are added in.

This list pertains to cars, read further down. But I'm all for bringing back the yellow trucks and red bathing suits. Yellow in 2026, lets go Ford!

I keep swinging towards the Azure Grey, I might like the red if it was a little darker. I dunno if I could go for the green as I would then be highly tempted not to refer to it as the Maverick, but the pickleRick. Not sure what I think about the sand yet, gotta see it on a vehicle IRL, and it's rare on the Mavs so far, did they put it on the BS wagons?

If I were to get a new one I'd get the Azure Grey, they look sharp in person. According to the posted article from the OP, red depreciates a truck quicker than any other color. I personally wouldn't take that into consideration as I plan to keep mine until she goes into a permanent deep sleep.

...OMG, there was a lot of years when you could not give a way a green vehicle. And that… is why I will never own one. It reminds me of 1970’s TV.

As for certain colors getting more at resale, some buyers like CARVana say their used vehicle prices do not vary, based on color.

I don't need that garbage data, I can jump to specious conclusions based on vague gut feelings, like ...

Maybe the 2 or 3 "modern" colours that get popular are the same ones that were popular on hotwheels and other diecast cars some 20 years ago. I came up with this theory when that burnt orange metallic seemed to explode everywhere.
