Co-Pilot options available in '22 are now Co-Pilot+ for '23

Hi all,
I order a Lariat Lux Hybrid in Oct. of '21. It was rolled over or reordered as a '23. I am expecting delivery the first couple weeks of April.
I ordered the Co-Pilot 360 because I wanted the automatic cruise control.
I was told if I dropped some of the options of my '22 order it was possible I could get my truck earlier. I told them I would wait because I wanted all the options.
Apparently, in order to get the ACC in the '23 model, my saleman should have ordered the Co-Pilot+, which he did not do.

In looking at my window sticker, it shows built with Co-Pilot 360 and not Co-Pilot 360+.
This cannot be changed at the dealership.
Also, my saleman told me I would get a private offer from Ford to help offset the price increase for the '23.
He now says he isn't aware of any incentive.
All in all, I think my saleman just screwed up. I am really wanting the ACC, but my only option is to order a '24 when the banks open.

I handed the sales manager a form I got here with everything I wanted checked and then checked his paperwork against it. Hardly anybody is going to be as careful as the buyer unfortunately. Looking at my window sticker it looks like everything is correct. I changed my color after ordering and called Ford to make sure they got that change. Hopefully we'll see in a few weeks.

Unfortunately you are correct. Your salesman screwed up. There are ways to add ACC as documented on this forum, but it is expensive and extensive and not for the average consumer.

Main answer is to decline and reorder (I'd do it from another dealer). Sorry, and that sucks but that's where you're at.

Your dealer should have provided you with a new build sheet for your approval when the MY22 order was rolled by FORD to MY23. It was well communicated on this forum and in other places (like Long McArthur YouTube videos) that the ACC was separated out from the CoPilot 360 option. Info was well communicated to the dealers as well - unfortunately, many dealers are doing the bare minimum when it comes to selling cars (or trucks).

If you manage to get a hybrid I would consider you lucky based on the number of orders. If you sell it and order another you might not even get it.
