Co-Pilot 360 Question

I have the 2022 Maverick hybrid with the lux package & co-pilot 360. I have a question about the co-pilot 360 when backing up :

If I'm backing up and a car drives by I should hear a beeping sound indicating a car is behind me when I'm backing out right?

If I'm backing into my garage and get close to the back wall I should hear a beeping sound indicating I'm getting near the wall right?

Right now I don't hear any beeping sound when the above happens, I want to say it use to work. I stopped by the dealership the other day to inquire about the above situations and he said no, I should not hear any beeps when backing up when a car pass by or getting close to a wall.

I just want to confirm if the service tech at the dealership is right and I don't have that feature with co-pilot 360. Or I should hear beeping sound when I backing up & a car is behind me or getting close to a wall when backing up in my garage.

A 2022 XLT doesn't have rear proximity sensors even with CP360. Only Lariat with Luxury Package.

Otherwise, yes, a vehicle approaching from the sides towards the rear corners when reversing should trigger the Cross-traffic Alert.

You have the yellow indicators in the corner of the mirrors for blind spot detection and not blind spot mirrors, correct?

Yep. This is the answer.

Two different systems. Cp360 gives you the cross traffic alert (and I believe emergency braking - which is annoying sometimes in my 2025).

Rear parking sensors are in Lariat only.

I ordered my 23 XLTremor with Lux but no CP360 because I knew I could add lane keep assist after the fact.

Yes, I have the yellow indicators in the corner of the mirror for blind spot detection. So, when I'm backing up and a car is approaching it WILL trigger the Cross traffic alert (CTA).

And it will NOT trigger when I back up into my garage when getting near the wall.

I have a 2023 Lariat EB and when backing out my driveway sometimes that alarm goes off with cross traffic. Nothing when nearing anything though which sucks.

Ford calls cross-traffic alert system BLIS - it's not just the Copilot 360, but it's Copilot 360 WITH BLIS that gets you that warning [of cross-traffic coming while you back out]. My 2023 XLT with Copilot 360 has it.

It's confusing because Copilot 360 isn't the exact same thing for every model year or package level. It means more or less depending on what other options are available or included.
