Chicago to Port Canaveral and back again

Just drove our FE to Port Canaveral and back for a cruise…only saw 4 other Mavericks on the entire trip, including 1 I spotted when walking around Puerto Rico!

The FE was very comfortable for the extended period. Took 2 days to drive down and the same on the return andif my wife hadn’t demanded we stop I could’ve easily drove straight through. Finished the drive with no fatigue at all.

Is FE more comfortable than other Maverick?

How was the cruise? Me and my Wife are driving down to Miami this week to go on the Beach Boys cruise to Belize. Only 200 miles for us!

Well after what you do every Dec 24th, a trip from Chicago to Port Canaveral, is like going to the grocery store for the rest of us....

How was the cruise? Me and my Wife are driving down to Miami this week to go on the Beach Boys cruise to Belize. Only 200 miles for us!

Oh that sounds like fun! The cruise was OK…our first since Covid and the service was a little sub-par as was the entertainment. They also had QR codes in the restaurants for the menus which meant you had to have your phone with you…

This one is definitely more comfortable but that’s more down to the last one being an XL 2WD and the FE is a Lariat AWD with adaptive cruise control and heated seats.

Well after what you do every Dec 24th, a trip from Chicago to Port Canaveral, is like going to the grocery store for the rest of us....
