Charging battery for the winter

Yeah that changed with MY23. All MY22 Canadian Mavericks did come with it. I did not option it, it just came with it.

Canadian Build & Price and order guide for MY 2023 Maverick show the block heater was still standard (checked by default, cannot uncheck). Don't have the 2024 Canadian order guide in front of me but B&P shows it's optional.

I seem to recall seeing one of the guys at a Canadian dealership saying it was only optional now. Maybe that was MY24?
