It is ethanol-free and usually pricier. However yesterday, it was down to $2.49 at a station near me. So I'ma switch to it for winter driving. Regular 10% ethanol fuel is down to $2.35
Holy Gas Tank Batman, Come to the wonderful world of the Oregon coast, we are paying 4.10 a gallon and the prices went down this week by like 30 cents.

Dealer determined the 23E09 PCM reprogram was the fix. Was at the dealership for about an hour and was done. It had been getting misfiring codes and ran poorly on the way over with poor mpg. On the way home it ran great and got 45mpg, more in line with what I had been getting.

Driving home tonight at 65mph using cruise control, my CEL came on. FordPass app says “The Engine control system has reached its adaptive learning limits with the fuel control system. The Engine Start/Stop feature (if equipped) may be disabled when this fault is present.” I had notice my Fuelly tracked MPG was a little lower on my last fill up but attributed it to colder weather.

I’ve yet to pull the actual code, so can’t answer that, but was wondering if this is related to any of the recalls so that I can nudge the dealer in the right direction. I know they should be competent, but ya never know these days.

Also it’s a 23 XL Hyrid.
Can you elaborate on what CEL means to me (22 Lariat Hybrid)? I ask because I do not feel my mpg is optimum, hoovering at 34mpg (overall, city/hwy).
