Does anyone know if the 400W outlets are tied to the 12V starter battery or are they pulling from the batteries in the hybrid? Specifically interested in how long I can pull 400W out of these outlets before running out of juice.

no idea, but from what i recall reading on older post in this form it won't run much of anything, not enough power. you may want to try the search and see other post about it

Ahh!!! Zombie thread!

400W through inverter that requires the engine to run. Zero power otherwise.

since the truck has to be running. Id imagine its pulling from the hi voltage. Its not going to let you drain it.

400 watts only means 120v at 3.33 amps. anything with a decent sized electric motor is going to pull more than that when starting.
