Trying to connect to ForSCAN to try to disable the factory EQ on the sound system, and whenever I load up the ForSCAN software on my laptop and connect with my OBD2 to USB device it says vehicle found but then gives me this error:

"If PCM has a custom tune installed, please enter stategy/calibration name or part number of Factory PCM.”

I don't know where to find the PCM and have never really done anything like this before. Is this something I have to contact the dealer for? Anyone else had this issue?

If you just got the truck you might have to wait a couple of weeks. It pretty common in the f150 side for this to happy to recently bought vehicles if ford updated the pcm and that pcm version hasn’t been added to forscan yet. Also make sure you have the latest version installed since that just recently came out.
