I have a rollover order at Chapman Ford Horsham and I received an email from Ashlie that they only have very few allocations. So I went to my local dealer at 5:30pm today to order one, but the sales manager said they received a message from Ford this morning stating that they cannot accept more orders. I don't know whether it is true, or just because the dealer also have limited allocation?

A friend of mine at work ordered one from Sheehy of Ashland, VA at 2:30PM tonight. He was told after "tonight" that is it...

I called another dealer and he said no hybrid order but ecoboost order is open, maybe just because of dealer allocation.

Right now things are all over the place. Orders are rumored to be ending this evening for hybrids and later in the week for the EB. Allocations same story. One of the biggest dealers says they are only getting 11 for the foreseeable future, which most likely leaves the smaller dealers with maybe 1 or 2? LOL.

One thing is a given though. It does appear that Ford did themselves no favors laying off 3000 workers as far as we are concerned. I just do not know if they know if they are on foot or horseback. :ROFLMAO:

I heard the layoffs were white collars.
Bean counters and management.
The lack of top heaviness may actually help production. 😄

From what I've read, they are slimming down their ICE operations. Which makes sense if they plan to offer more hybrid/electric offerings. You don't need as large an engineering and development team focused on ICE.

My dealer has told me computer systems down the last several days.
I called my dealer again today at 3:00pm and asked him to roll my order Lariat hybrid to 2023.
He said he would but I have not seen any emails or confirmations. I've lost hope on that order for the moment.
I called another dealer and ordered an XL ecoboost over the phone in about 5 minutes, full official confirmation from Ford a few minutes later...unreal.
