  1. Disappointed in this tonneau cover

Geez that’s crazy! I primarily bought the extended warranty for the drivetrain components, but am learning about all the ā€œexclusionsā€. Even though I don’t garage the truck, I take good care of it; you wouldn’t know by looking that it has 78k miles on it. Oh well…
  2. Disappointed in this tonneau cover

I did purchase it when I ordered the truck. The dealer took photos and submitted them as a warranty claim, but it was denied due to it being past the 36k mileage (less than 3 yrs though), and it is excluded from the extended warranty.
  3. Disappointed in this tonneau cover

Wow this great; I actually bought a roll of black flextape since it says can be used outdoors. Gonna look up the tape he used. Thanks for the tip, beats replacing it (for now). Great idea, I will try flextape or something similar. Wow, thanks for that response and link. When I replace it, it...
  4. Disappointed in this tonneau cover

I’ve had my 22 Maverick for 3 years this October, and overall I’ve been very pleased. Through 78xxxk miles and numerous recalls and TSB’s, my dealer Holman Ford in Turnersville NJ has been very accommodating. Until now. I ordered the truck with Fords hard tri-fold tonneau cover from the factory...
  5. Who has the highest odometer miles on their Maverick.

22 lariat hybrid, 55k miles since October 22, only routine maint, recalls and axle shafts just replaced. Excellent gas mileage, practical size, easy to live with. I’d do it again lol
  6. Calling all that are happy with little to no issues!

Agree with your evaluation; it was hard to mentally shift from four flawless Subaru experiences to preparing for a Ford experience, especially a first-year new (unproven) model, but I had 14 months to convince myself while I waited for my my 22 lariat hybrid to arrive. I have to say that after...
  7. Would you buy hybrid again yes or no

Yes for sure. 33k miles after 14 months of ownership, no problems, just great practicality and mileage.
  8. MY 24 All Terrain Lariat Hybrid Maverick has arrived.

Looks great! Love the color. Congrats and good luck. My one year old ā€˜22 chili pepper red Lariat Hybrid just crossed 31k miles with no real issues. Easy to drive and live with; especially love the mpg! Enjoy your new ride!
  9. rough idle cold engine

Well said, my hybrid does exactly the same thing when cold. At first I thought it was the wind rocking the truck lol.
  10. Hit 1 year - 34,000 miles. Extremely satisfied overall

Thanks so much, look forward to the information.
  11. Hit 1 year - 34,000 miles. Extremely satisfied overall

Thanks for sharing your updates! Love what you did, especially the auto dimming mirror with homelink. It’s the one thing I miss from my Subaru. Which one did you use, and is the wiring already present at the mirror mounting point? Thanks for your help, good luck with your truck!
  12. TSB 22-2493 issued for 2.5L Hybrid Maverick grabby brakes (at or below 6.2 MPH)

Thanks for sharing this. 3 days ago I had an appt at my dealer for my first oil change, and I brought up the braking issue with the service advisor. He pulled the truck into the service reception bay, and verified that ā€œyes, there’s definitely an issue with the brakes at low speedā€. I settled...
  13. Odd Brakes in Hybrid Maverick

Have had my mav for just about a month now, and I have experienced the same exact brake characteristics. From my very first drive, I felt the brakes were very ā€œtouchyā€, and that I would get used to them, but the slow speed issues as you described to a tee persist. I found a video that addresses...
