So I am reading this to say at the end of the day, there will actually be a $6899 mark up, correct? For $7K, personally, I would do some more shopping around. The question you have to ask yourself (and only you know the answer), will you regret paying all that extra money some point down the road...Right now, probably not, as with all of us waiting, we just want our trucks, but stop and think long term for a moment, not sure this helps, but another prospective, good luck...

Just wanted to cap this off and put it out to pasture, I've heard everyone on here and I appreciate your input. I know this is not the best financial decision but to be fair to all of you that got the truck for under MSRP my actions are only boasting your value so you really should be thanking me lol.

In any case we decide against the popular opinion on here and we'll be the new owners of Carbonized Grey Metallic Hybrid Lariat Maverick soon. I look forward to the insight these boards can often provide, and I'm excited to become part of such a lively and involved bunch!
Congratulations on a well thought out plan. You made the decision that works best for you- and that's what is most important here (y)

So there was no other car that you could've gotten at MSRP? Like, none?

Sorry, love the Maverick Hybrid - obviously - but it is, at heart, a $20,000 vehicle which in Lariat Luxury form has $10,000 in options. Past $30,000 it is a terrible deal, and at close to $40,000 it is a downright absurd proposition.

Just paid MSRP + tax on a 2022 Civic Touring for my mother. Came out to somewhere around $33k (MSRP $30,360). Why you'd buy a Maverick for substantially more than that blows my mind. Granted, not a truck, but a much nicer vehicle overall - especially inside.

MSRP was around 31 and I paid 36 .... figured by the time my hybrid Maverick comes in i will owe about what it's worth and trade even Steven and I'll just be renting it for the payments each month no biggie... however I really do love it and I might just keep both f*** it
