I would love to see someone buy this kit, then do a 0-60 stock run and a 0-60 run with the air filter kit installed.
Hp numbers on a dyno are nice to brag about, but the improvement in performance is what counts for me.
I'm not saying that this kit won't produce shorter 0-60 times.....I just want to see the 0-60 numbers proving it.

If you want to buy this kit because you like the produced sound, that's fine, but if I'm going to spend that much money I want to see actual 'street' gains.

I have a video or two up there now. The truck is apart with the exhaust out being bent and the front mount intercooler waiting to be fabbed to go back on, hoping we make progress on that today. The cores are here for the project, we have to fab the tanks and get the inlets/outlets CNC'd in aluminum to make it an "easy" bolt on.

The timing is all over, varies depending on load, RPM and 100 different algorithms effecting where the engine is running.

27 horsepower from an air box replacement? Sorry but that just doesn’t sound probable / accurate. Can you please post your data on this.

I installed a similar air box in my 2001 Grand Marquis and immediately noticed better pickup and 2-3 MPG increase. I did the same on my 2012 F150 EcoBoost and it too had increased performance when you needed it and slightly better mileage.
In the case of the Grand Marquis, the air intake went from about the size of a clarinet to a four inch tube. For the F150, it doubled the size of the air intake.

During acceleration there's a bit of turbo noise. Under normal engine load there's no sound difference that I can discern.

So since this intake leans out the afr, how about some dyno runs with water meth injection? I'm liking the looks of the aem v3.
