I was generous in believing I would receive it by thanksgiving not anymore

I understand nobody likes threads and threads of people bitchin and moaning, but this shits getting abused.
I should have kept the Cx5 order. Order to delivery was 2 months.

Welcome to the butt end of MY22 production. Moved me last week.
At this point I may as well try to be the very last 22 off the line. Wonder if there is a way to get a ribbon for such an "accomplishment."

Dealer told me they're saving the best for last. I wasn't amused.

You have great self control if you resisted the temptation to 👊 him in the 😁

I am wondering if the second wave of 22's not built will get priority code of 9.9 when they reorder as 23's. I'm thinking I will go look at street legal golf carts tomorrow. Two days ago I gave my 2022 Honda crv to granddaughter for college.

October 14th order. build week was originally first week of August. Just got another push to November 14th. This is absolutely ridiculous, I'm so irritated. My wife's cars in the shop for the next 2 weeks, my cars hanging on by a thread, and now my truck that should've been in my driveway months ago is delayed yet again. Running out of options, and I don't care in the least about any excuses ford gives. I will never buy a Ford ever again after this.

I had a weird feeling when someone reported this am that the second dealer they took their hybrid to with clunking sound when braking was diagnosed with bad motor mounts due to defective roll resistor.😳😳. Could worn motor mounts be related to ice shudder???. 🤔

On 9/15 I went to the dealer to perform a roll over order for a 2023. When I talked to my salesman he said I was scheduled for a build week of 10/17. A few days later I received and email from Ford to confirm this then utilized Ford chat to get my VIN. A few weeks later I got an email that I got pushed to the week of 10/24. Tonight I received an email saying it is now the week of 10/31. Obviously I didn't place a 2023 order because I was told my 2022 was being built. What is going to happen? I know 2022 building stops mid November and now there is only about two weeks of buffer room. What will Ford do with 2022 orders that were "scheduled" but didn't roll over into 2023? My build is in my signature.

This would be my fifth time being bumped back thus far. I, too, am actually wondering if there's going to be an extension on production, all the way to the end of the calendar year, at the rate they're going. If so, there's actually little incentive to keep waiting. At this point, interest rates have gone up several times since I placed the order, economic situation keeps looking grimmer, they seem confident that they'll be able to magically finish every unfulfilled 2022 on the week of November 14th, rather than gradually up to then. The real principle is that if you are valued as a customer, there'd be transparency, consolation, and maybe even a little recompense in the form of free accessories, or a decent sized rebate off the final price.

But, alas, improbable in this greedy world of ours. If there was more competition in this segment, there'd be greater incentive to do more, and people in the market for this type of vehicle would be more evenly spread around to the point to where it'd make enough difference.

This was a really bad idea, honestly. I probably should have just committed to something else to begin with. Probably still will. I just can't warm to the idea that I'd be waiting 14-15 months for a 2022 vehicle in early 2023. Won't be doing a vehicle order again that's more than a 3 month wait, and won't be doing Ford either. Too frustrating.
