Hey everyone! I searched the for some posts on this, but I think I might have missed it. If anyone has one just let me know.

I am taking care of the TSB for the Hybrid braking issues on Friday, but I have noticed this past week that I am having some other noises. Whenever I brake, I have a loud creaking noise and I cannot tell if it is the brakes or the suspension. This happens not when I am in the process of braking, but when the vehicle comes to a complete stop at the end of the braking process. It sounds more like the suspension as I have heard a creak getting in and out of the vehicle as well. I am not a big guy (170lbs), so it is a little concerning, especially on a new vehicle with 8k miles.

I am going to mention this Friday with the dealership when I take it in for the TSB, but I was wondering if anyone else had something similar or any ideas on what it could be.

Good afternoon! Can you please send over a message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer? I would like to take a closer look at your noise concerns.

Just crappy brake pads (one cracked) and rotors. I had everything replaced and while it fixed a lot of the noise, some can still pop up from time to time. When these go I am going to do some research and get some better brakes and rotors for sure.

Since then I also had test drove a few vehicles with my wife and spoke to the service writer I know, seems like brake noise is pretty common in many new Ford's unfortunately. My old Taurus and my wife's 2018 Escape were however super quiet.
