I live 3/10ths of a mile from the ocean. Wish I had a garage that could actually be USED (that's a whole other story.) My car on any given morning is a sopping wet mess. I'm going to have to be hyper-vigilant about the care of my Mav when it arrives. Had a 2002 Honda Civic that I traded in with 300K+ miles on it because my mechanic was tired of dealing with it. Between the 9-1/2 years of NY weather and road salt, combined with the new move to the beach, any time he tried to fix something, something else would break from the corrosion. Shame, really. The engine and tranny were solid on that car. That would be nice. Thank you.
I know when I go to Patrick Space Force Base which is right on the ocean. My vehicle gets covered in salt takes about 30 minutes. You can see the salt blowing over A1A when the wind is coming off the ocean. Looks like a light fog.
