Blinker noise too loud

If you leave your seatbelt off, the seatbelt chime will mute the turn signals. It’s even more loud though…..

Also, I’m not suggesting that. But it does, in fact, mute other sounds while doing its thing.

Because it's slightly safer (3%?) than holding a phone while driving, and the idiot masses want it.

If you are in a designated turn lane, turn off your blinker. The whole point is to signal intent and intent can be assumed in that circumstance. I tell my kids the turn signal is to announce an unexpected action such as turning off a straight road or changing lanes. No sense announcing what is obvious.

If you aren't in a designated turn lane, I don't know what to say. I don't actually talk on the phone that much currently and so not sure I have advice otherwise.

You may find this logical advice from your behind the wheel POV but the first problem is that you’re advocating for a traffic violation.

The bigger issue is the trust you’re placing in every other driver on the road to identify you’re in a marked turning lane and about to turn in front of them.

Turn signals aren’t just for getting into the turn lane, they are for completing the entire maneuver.

I never noticed it on mine.

Be careful what you wish for. The sound/noise in my wife's Lexus is so soft you can't hear it. Dealer wants $250 to go into the software and change it. It is not a user accessible setting. So my guess, just a GUESS, is it could be done with Forscan.

I agree it's loud. If in a turn lane where I'm in the middle, I turn it off.

As my late husband used to suggest when i said i was hearing a strange noise in the truck "Turn the Radio Up" I was in the truck for an extended time yesterday with my 92yr old mom who kept asking me what the name of this building or sign said..... I can drive or i can read a passing sign on a building i cant do both!! Too many idiots out there to watch out for!

I only use the 3 blink lane Change signal. 3 blinks is all you get I'm moving over and I don't want to wear them out. They're only good for a few thousand blinks.

I think the problem is the Maverick is too quiet

Very easy solution for some of us (we know who we are) Just hit that button on the hearing aids! Poof!! Just like magic. Can't hear crap now! For you youngsters out there, don't worry, your time is coming!

I'm sure it is... The pain in my nearly 60 year old body seems to be increasing daily but I don't quite require the use of a hearing aid yet. Most of the time I have the music volume turned up to 20 something so the blinker noise is hardly a concern.
