One thing I have always wondered is why American automobile companies don't program in a chime or audible notice to work with your Blind spot alerts. You get the light, in the side view mirrors notification or blinking lights when the turn signal is engaged when there is something in the blind spot but NO audible signal. I have a Mercedes E350 that has the audible alert and it's a Godsend and one more measure of protection for the driver. If someone doesn't like it then allow programming to turn off the audible alert but it would help so much more if it was available.
You have the ability to activate a chime or sound with other functions, why not the blind spot warning system?
