Blacked out emblems.

Anyone got any good tips, or pictures of any Mavs with all the chrome emblems blacked out? I’d like to take care of mine and unsure of the best way to do it.

Nope. I tried but the tape didn’t stick well. Just taped a box off around the whole emblem and sprayed it. It snapped at the edges and peeled off with no problems

Yeah, I used hyperdip on my wheels and I just sprayed over the Ford center caps and the hyperdip peeled off perfectly after everything dried as I wanted to still see the black centercaps and Ford emblem.

On the XLT fender badges, did you just spray the whole badge, and then when you peeled it, the dip just came off right around the raised letters?

I want to get rid of the chrome XLT letters, so trying to see how easy this would be for me to do. Thanks!
