Bison Tonneau Cover

I have ordered a Bison 3 piece tonneau cover for my 2024 Maverick XLT. The instruction say to feed drain pipes through hole sin the side of the box liner, suggesting that the holes are pre drilled and existing, there are no pre drilled holes in the box liner. I phoned the company and they said I should just drill holes in the box liner and find pre drilled holes in the metal box itself, trouble is, its a leased vehicle and I'm sure it will not go down well if I return it with holes in the box liner and not buy it out.
Any suggestions, do I really need the drain pipes, the rep on the phone said I only need them in snow not rain which seems strange but who am I to argue they are the experts.

I have 3/4" plastic filler plugs in the bed sides, right under where the Bison drain pipes are. Just pop out the plugs and feed in about a foot of pipe. You have to twist the pipes around so that they don't kink. Done.

By "box liner" I'm assuming you mean drop-in or modular bed liner. My understanding is those don't always have the cut-out and drain holes that match the bed underneath. My Mav has the factor spray in bed liner and there are rubber plugs that are for the drain pipes.

The snow vs rain comment sounds like that person doesnt know what they are talking about.

If it is a modular bed liner you could remove it let the bed get scratched up and install it again if you decide not to buy the lease out.

My cover drains to the floor of the bed at the front. Do you maybe have holes up there?

Not a one, mine looks like a new bed for this years model, the only thing on the bottom are the tie downs.

Maybe check with the dealership accessories department on how they would install a tonneau. My dealership accessories department has been very helpful with making sure I do not do something wrong in the eyes of the dealer as far as install goes. But that will be very dependent on the dealer

Something happened to the image I posted earlier. But yeah it seems the drop-in liner covers the drain holes.

I think I have the same bison tonneau cover as you @Kirkster and no bed liner.
I have those same holes that Whatcolortochoose posted above.
