Wanted to show folks what I’ve been up to with some bed racks options. Have a bed rack system from Billie Bars, a Truxport tonneau cover, a Yakima LoadWarrior basket and I throw my skis on there as well as two bikes so far. Happy with the system and I can still roll up the Tonneau with a little bit of finagling. Happy to answer questions.

No questions, they look great. I wish they had a T-slot attachment option since they aren't a direct fit for my tonneau cover (X15). And no, I'm not interested in trimming my rails.

Looks great. How easy would it be to remove either the cross bars or the whole system? I'd love to use something like this, but I'm going to need to move mulch and gravel a couple times a year and can't really have cross bars in the way of a dozer bucket.

Man, I dig the setup!!! I’d love to know a ballpark idea about what the whole setup ran you. I’m looking to find a similar solution for my bikes. We’re planning to do some serious traveling with the truck, and I need a solution like this that saves space under the cover while being about to securely carry my bikes.

… and I dig that gravel bike. (The SC is pretty sweet too.)

Man, do you think there’s room for a third bike in the middle instead of the basket? I’m thinking maybe a rear-facing setup for the third bike. I basically will be carrying a MTB, a gravel bike, and my son’s (20”-24”) MTB.

What do you think?

(This is definitely the best setup I’ve seen yet.)

Crossbars are super easy to take off. Just held on with those bolts in the last pic. I can take them off in less than 5 minutes. The brackets that the cross bars mount to would take more time.

I’d venture a guess that you could fit up to 4 bikes if you ran the racks back to front alternating (especially if you have dropper posts and can get the seats out of the way of the next bike’s handlebars. But three would fit easy. And thanks for the kudos on the bikes. I fear my bikes are worth more than my cars…

The cross bars were about $500 with a discount code (can provide if people want it), and you can find used Yakima baskets and Frontloaders on Craigslist. Basket was $200 and frontloaders were $100 a piece. Again all of Craigslist.

How do you like your Santa Cruz? Is the hard tail a gravel bike?

What tire/wheel combo is that on the Niner? Looks like WTB Senderos in 650b? I have the same frame and have wondered how big I could go if I converted it to 650b.

Yep I like these bars a lot. I believe I may go this route.
