Agree. Looks good, but just adds weight and drag. No need for steps on a truck that you fall down into. It’s a short truck.

I know what you mean. I had chrome bed side rails on my Sonoma 2003 ZRX which I used a lot to haul antique furniture for my wife's store. The side rails prevented damage from loading the truck from the side and looked good. Kinda interesting that the MSRP was more for the ZRX in 2004 than I paid for the Maverick today and obviously the XL has much more in electronic gear than the ZRX had. I felt the same about the ZRX back in the day as I do about my XL today.

LOL my father in law just saw my Mav this past weekend and wouldn't stop talking about running boards. Maybe some retractable ones.... if you need them, otherwise no thanks. I do however like the look of the rack on the bed.....

Good luck. There's no sign of the chase rack or rails on the Ford Brasil Accessories site. They don't have anything for the Maverick yet. It's all Ranger only. Maybe we'll get lucky and somebody will sell them here.
