Really don't like the way the rear tires look. They are in about 1 1/2" in from the fronts. Looks weird from the rear with the flares. Anyone running spacers and if so what type and width?
The tires on it now are 245/70/17. Thinking about putting 265/70/17 on the rear. Now this is a fwd so no problem with that.
They are about .8" wider, 1.1" taller and .5" taller sidewall.

Increases your chances of losing control on tight turns in wet conditions on FWD. So yes there is a problem with that

Won't be doing this. Didn't think about it messing with the traction control. Will be using spacers to bring the wheels out.

You could get a leveling kit to raise the front enough to match the rear. Or lower the rear enough to match the front.

Do you mean that the truck sits lower in the front, or that the rear wheels are more sunk in then the front both are true? If you want to level the truck front is about 1.25 inches lower in the front. If you want to space out the rear wheels to match the front the track width is about 15 mm more in the front so you can do a 15mm spacer in the rear that should make them look even.

Anytime you change the factory tire size it will affect your fuel mileage

The front track width is probably a bit wider to aid in handling in various situations. It's an old trick we used to do back in my karting days. Ford engineers had a reason for it I'm sure.

Doing that could throw off the handling balance. I would 1) park your car on an actual level surface before jumping to mods and 2) check if a lift/ leveling kit could achieve what you're looking to do?

This could also affect the anti-lock braking system, since the sensors will be reading wheels turning at different speeds.

I get the reason for the post, with the front tires sitting out further then the rear stock it just looks a bit funny especially going to bigger tires.. I just got a fx4 and even stock it drives my ocd a bit crazy
