Another option would be to remove the fender flairs, but I suppose that's not really on the table, is it?

You cited weight as a concern, however, I couldn't determine what is the weight of this tire? I didn't see that in the specs.
At least a year ago a white Hybrid LX owner on this site switched to a SLIGHTLY larger tire and was shocked to lose from 4 to 6 MPG on his Hybrid and noticeable performance change. This owner did extensive research to find out why his mpg dropped so much, and he and his tire store owner (his brother) concluded it was the tire weight. His tire store switched him back to his original tires (THAT HE HAD KEPT) and he instantly regained his MPG, pretty much proving Tire Weight is a factor in MPG and performance.

haha I thought of that but, yeah, not an easy or cheap option.

... I really like these tires I live in North /West Tn next to Ky we had a Hell of a winter last year ☃🥶 -8 with a wind chill or -22 sleet ,ice ,snow 🥶. I live in the middle of nowhere they do not believe in snow plows. My Maverick Hybrid went all over the place with those tires...
it was a bad winter last year here in NW Arkansas as well. A friend also got around just fine in his FWD Hybrid with those tires. AWD would likely be better, but it certainly isn't necessary, either, for most winter driving that's not off-road.

That’s why I’m interested in All Season tires. They are less weight. Just everyone seems to only upgrade to large get all terrain.

FYI --- That tire on discount tire site shows to be discontinued and weighs 7lbs more than the 225/60/R18 primacy on hybrid lariat OEM.

Winter in Arkansas? What is that like? A couple inches per year? ;)
Your "bad" winter is a summer in Montana. Ground clearance and things like 4WD/AWD make all the difference. Anywhere that needs regular plowing each winter and develops ice on daily driven roads - snow tires or studded. Anything else is just pressing your luck regardless of which wheels are in control. It doesn't matter what tires you have when it's icy. If they are not made to drive on ice, slow WAY down or stay off the road.

Have you thought about wheel spacers? I don't know what's available but if you get proper hub centric ones that could push the wheels out a couple inches and maybe balance things out more. Probably be a whole bunch cheaper to try and see if you like it.

I understand that. The Defender 2 has replaced that tire. I got this tire set from a friend for less than half of retail cost. It is a little heavier as it is classified as extra load tire with thicker sidewalls. I also have a set of Defender 2 (235/65/17) in the photo below, which will replace the stock Continental. I have compared them both side by side. I will take the hit on MPG because this tire is far superior to the stock tires (continental or Michelin Primacy). I have had this tire on several different vehicles and know how outstanding it is. It is a shame that Michelin discontinued the Defender LTX M/S.

Thats a good idea. I didn’t think of that. Any recommendations?

I don't have any recommendations- was honestly just an idea that I'm not sure if it would do what you want. But I did a quick search and found this:

https://www.supremesuspensions.com/...lt-pattern-m14-x-1-5-studs-63-4mm-center-bore

No idea about this company or pricing, but just to give you an idea of what I was thinking. Definitely a whole lot cheaper than new tires if you want to try. Again not a recommendation, just a jumping off point if you want to look into it. These might be great quality and pricing, I just don't know.
