I've been using this little generic cheapie for about 6 weeks. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZTTGMH1

No software installation on my phone, just plug it in and connect to it via bluetooth as if it were any other wireless AA source. It has been more reliable than the Sync4a wireless AA in my Bronco.

I did have to use my own double sided tape, but I had it on hand already, no big deal. The cord is short which is perfect for plugging in and sticking right below it, out of sight.

That's a good deal, not sure how that got by my frugal eyes.

I have the Motorola MA1 and it's the only one I've ever tried so I can't really compare it to anything else. I first used it in my previous vehicle which was a Kia and I now use it in my Maverick & my Mustang and I highly recommend it. It has worked flawlessly in all three vehicles. I like that it doesn't require any additional app, you just set it up once and you're all set. Also it's the only wireless adapter that's certified by Google. I think it's on sale this week for $70 which is a rare discount.

Got the Motorola ma1, bought a left angle USBC to USB B 6 inch extension and some double sided traps so I could tuck it cleanly under the center console. Works great
Can you post the p/n's and pics. Thanks!
I'm also curious what parts you used and how it looks in the truck with it set up that way. JJach951 can you give us more details?

Carlinkit 5.0 has worked great, especially if you need both AA and Carplay connectivity.
Seeking advice on the Carlinkit 5.0. I am having no luck getting the device to work with my Mav. I have a an XLT with the connected radio. I also have an apple watch that is always connected to my iPhone. I've removed my iphone from my Mav bluetooth and wifi (told it to forget the devices). When I connect the Carlinkit 5.0 to the USB A, it lights red. Nothing appaers on the head unit. I then connect to the device on my iPhone via bluetooth but it just flashes blue continuously and never brings up carplay. The head unit does display the carplay disclaimers which I accept but nothing changes. What was your experience on the initial connection and did you experience something similar? Any guidance you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I own the Moto MA1 and AAWireless.
Both work great for me.

I use the AAWireless now in my Maverick because it also supports Apple Carplay. I can connect my Android phone or iphone to it. It also gets regular updates.

They are great devices. I can't even imagine going back to non wireless Android Auto. I can't understand why Ford and other manufacturers aren't offering wireless Android Auto and Wireless Carplay in more vehicles. Those should be standard by now.

I got one from TEMU for ~$34 shipped and it works great. Costed almost double on amazon for the same unit.

In which usb port you connected the adapter.

My Motorola MA1 started occasionally disconnecting and reconnecting. Now it often disconnects and reconnects. I think it is dying. Had it about a year.

Those of you with the $25 AUTUVONE one (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZTTGMH1), has it been reliable in the long term?
