Maybe muddy Bass sounds like lower bass. The RSE 165 when amplified punches so hard that my ears hurt. I now have JL audio subwoofers to take care of the frequencies below 60, but down to 60 hz the RSE 165 is amazing.
I did use forscan to correct the wheel circumference but the largest you can go is 2270mm which is still about 7% off in diameter. (28.5" vs 30.5" actual)
I'm struggling to get 20-21 mpg, city only driving, with upsized tires (245/70/17) on my 2023 XLT FX4 4k tow. This is with auto stop/start disabled.
Only have about 300 miles on the truck. I am trying to baby it as well. Maybe trying ECO mode might help.
It has been kind of cold recently and...

I traced out the circuit and the woofer side of the crossover just goes straight...
I got it to work with speed sign recognition. 2023 XLT ecoboost fx4 4k tow.
Followed the snowkarver guy's post on page 10 using as built data. Use the asbuilt values over this thread and override some of what this thread has for the conflicting values in the speed sign recognition if you want that.
I got square sign on my XLT fx4 doing the code method but I don't have the option to set the alert for under 35 mph vs above it. Only one setting. Weird!
I was able to set to 2270mm (didn't try any larger) in the BdyCM module. There is also a tire size setting in the ABS module. Do I need to change that too?
First time around I had a weird P160a AWD module error that I cleared by resetting DTC and running the calibration via the PCM or...
How do you like the subwoofer? I don't need a ton of bass.. I was happy with the rockville spare tire subwoofer that I put in my Toyota Prius.
I am looking to do the same exact upgrade to my XLT non B&O. The stock speakers sound horrible.
